Routing with Tiara 1400 Router for NxT1

What You Need

The Tiara 1400 router is certified to work with our NxT1 service. This router comes with eight physical WAN interfaces. Each WAN interface on a Tiara 1400 is a standard T1 CSU/DSU. Each interface is known as a bundle link and can be combined with other links to form a bundle (a single logical transport medium).

Two Ethernet interfaces are available. The customer LAN interfaces the Tiara 1400 via one or both Ethernet interfaces.

In order to use the Tiara 1400, the following requirements must be met:

• The Ethernet interface supports 10/100mbps at half or full duplex. The interface requires a RJ-45 connector. Ethernet cables do not ship with the Tiara 1400.
  
  
• All T1 interfaces require a RJ-48C style connector. T1 cables do not ship with the Tiara 1400.
