Configuring Two B Channels

Choose Easy Setup... from the Main menu:

Switch Type... (Provided by Telco)
SPID 1: (Provided by Telco)
SPID 2: (Provided by Telco)
Directory ID 1: (Your ISDN phone number)
Directory ID 2: (Your ISDN phone number)

Choose Next Screen:

Connection Profile Name: Net
Telephone Number to Dial: (POP phone number)
Optional 2nd Number to Dial:
Remote IP Address: 38.1.1.1
Remote IP Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Authentication (Security)... PAP
Send User/Host Name: LIXXXXX (Your ISDN account number)
Send Password/Secret: ******* (Your ISDN account password)
Receive User/Host Name:
Receive Password/Secret:

Choose "Next Screen":

Ethernet IP Address: A.B.C.x (IP address of your router)
Ethernet IP Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway IP Address: 38.1.1.1
Domain Name Server IP Address: 38.8.82.2

***Save these settings and return to Main Menu

Next, choose Advanced Configuration... from Main Menu:

Then choose WAN (Wide Area Network) Setup...

Then select Add Connection Profile...

New Profile Name: Net
Profile Enabled: Yes
Remote IP Address: 38.1.1.1
Remote IP Mask: 255.255.255.0
Number to Dial: (POP Number)

Now choose MPP/PPP Options...

Send Authentication... PAP
Send User/Host Name: LIXXXXX (Your account id)
Send Password/Secret: ******* (Your account password)
Receive User/Host Name:
Receive Password/Secret:
B-Channel Usage... 2 B Channel
Stac Data Compression: Off
Maximum Packet Size: 1500

Press Esc when finished and then choose Telco Options...

Dial... Dial Out only
Dial On Demand: Yes
Initiate Data Service... 64 kb/sec
Callback: No
Idle Timeout (seconds): XX (Number of seconds)

Press Esc when finished and then choose Additional Options...

Receive RIP: No
Transmit RIP: No

You may then choose a filter set from Filter Set... if one has been created.

Press Esc when finished and choose ADD PROFILE NOW to save.
