Routing with the Livingston IRX 211 for Leased Line

What You Need

• To connect the Livingston IRX-211 to the Internet you will need a CSU/DSU.
  
  For 56K connections we recommend the Astrocom 2364.
  
  For T1 and fractional T1 connections we recommend the Astrocom NX-1.
  
  Both of these devices are resold by us.
  
  
• You will also need an RJ45 or RJ48 depending on the demarc that the telco drops. (This cable is usually shipped with the CSU/DSU.)
  
  
• You will also need a cable to run from the CSU/DSU to the serial interface. This RS-232 to v.35 connector is provided with the router.
  
  
• To configure the router with an out of band terminal, you will need a null modem cable to connect to the DB-25(F) S0 port.
