Routing with Imatek's OnRamp Router for 56K Leased Line Service

Simple Network Monitoring Protocol (SNMP)

SNMP is the most widely used protocol for managing TCP/IP internets. We offer daily SNMP reports at no additional charge for all leased line customers. Our reports give you hour by hour statistics.

To configure add the following to config.net to enable SNMP:

snmp add [trap-target-ip_addr]
snmp community get [get_community_name]
snmp community set
snmp string sysContact "[system contact name]"
snmp string sysName "[system name]"
snmp string sysLocation "[system location]"
start snmp

There are two ways to implement this change: using the onrsh utilities or ftping the file off the router, editing it and ftping it back.
