Routing with Imatek's OnRamp Router for 56K Leased Line Service

Aliasing Your Ethernet Port

Your Onramp Router is capable of running its ethernet port with two IP addresses. To assign a second address, use the following:

ifconfig en0a encap ether mtu 1500 netmask 0xffffff00
ifconfig en0a static en0
ifconfig en0a up
ifconfig en0a ipaddr LAN.LAN.LAN.001 netmask 255.255.255.000
ifconfig en0a broadcast LAN.LAN.LAN.255
