Version 2.6.1 Release Notes 8/22/95 This release also includes a limited, line-mode-only telnet server. To use this limited telnet server add "start telnet" to the config.net file. Your telnet client will need to do local echo and local line editing. Bugs Fixed: 1. panel keybeep setting not correctly saved. 2. entering an unknown command with onrsh caused a crash. 3. "cd /" in ftp caused the onramp to crash. 4. "bogus" interrupts from the Serial Communications Controller could cause a crash. 5. Packets sometimes dropped and memory leaked during processing of ARP packets. 6. Ethernet collision counter sometimes incorrectly incremented when OnRamp not transmitting. 7. Frame Relay LMI packets were not given high enough priority. Sometimes when a link was very busy, OnRamp would drop LMI packets from its output queue. This caused the Frame Relay switch to incorrectly mark the link down. 8. The syntax of some ppp lcp commands in ppp.net was incorrect. 9. SNMP vendor (enterprise) I.D. truncated from 1264 to 240. 10. SNMP system services variable reported OnRamp was a host rather than a router. 11. The command "snmp community set" (with no arguments following "set") correctly disabled sets but caused the "GET" community to be reported as the "SET" community by the "snmp list" command. 12. The SNMP cold start trap was not sent at boot time even though the command "start snmp" was in config.net. 13. SNMP incorrectly reported some interface statistics such as output queue length. Please Note: Imatek's have v2.3 built in. If the upgrade is unsuccessful, or there is some other problem with the Firmware running in Flash Memory, the Imatek will boot with v2.3. In addition, SNMP was not made available until v2.4.
