Identify Your Computer on the Network

You may be prompted for the Windows NT CD/Disks after each addition or when you close this control panel.

Click Start | Settings | Control Panel

Double-Click the Network Icon.

There will be five tabs on this panel:

Click on the Services Tab.

Check for Remote Access Service.

If it is not installed:

• Click on Add
• Click on Remote Access Service
• Click OK

Click on the Protocols Tab.

Check for the TCP/IP Protocol.

If it is not installed:

• Click on Add.
• Click on TCP/IP.
• Click OK.
• Click on Close.

Windows NT may prompt you to restart the system. After restart, proceed to next step.
