Error 692 Using 3Com Impact ISDN Modem with RAS

NOTE: This procedure requires you to make a change in your modem.inf file. Please make a backup copy of this file before following these steps!

  1. Open your Modem.inf file in any text editor.
  2. Do a search for 3Com Impact Digital Data.
  3. Look for the following line COMMAND_DIAL=
  4. Change this line to COMMAND_DIAL=ATD
