Dialup Networking with Internet Valet

Remote Access Configuration for MacIntosh

How to Configure Internet Valet



Click on the Setup Option pull-down menu; choose Configure Programs AND TCP/IP and then click Next to continue.

Enter your personal information and click Next to continue.




Email Address: Typically, your email address will be accountid@domain.com.
Password: The password you were assigned. The password is case sensative.

SMTP Server: smtp.domain.com
POP3 Server: pop3.domain.com
NNTP Server: usenet.domain.com

Click Next to continue.




IP Type: Please Check Server
Subnet mask: 255.0.0.0
Primary & Secondary Domain Names: "."
Primary DNS IP Address: 38.8.219.2
Secondary DNS IP Address: 38.8.220.2

Click Next.




Link Acces Protocol: PPP
PPP Phone Number: If you need to find an access number, click here.
Pap Name: Enter your Account ID
Examples: tf000000, cn88888. Do not put in your name or email alias.
PAP Password: Enter your password (The password is case sensitive.) Your password will be hidden so be careful when typing it!

Click Configure. This will configure your Internet Valet Programs, Valet Palette and Control Panels.

To run Internet Valet, click on the Internet Valet program. When it brings up the palette, choose what program you want to run. Internet Valet will dial out and make the connection.
