InterCon TCP/Connect II Configuration GuideChoose the two closest resolvers from the DNS name resolvers list. After you have loaded the TCP/Connect II software on your PC, go into the Program Manager. Open the TCP/Connect II window.
Open Setup TCP. TCP/Connect II for Windows setup screen displays.
From the scroll box on the left select Names. On the right hand side enter the following information:

On the right hand side enter the following information:
You will be prompted for your Ethernet adapter type.
Highlight it then click on OK.
You will be prompted for the I/O settings. (Your network card documentation should have this information.) If you are using Novell Netware, choose ODI. You will be prompted for Frame Type. Choose the frame type that you use. You will be prompted for the path to your net.cfg file. Enter it.
From the scroll box on the left select IP Setup. Verify that the Default Gateway is your router IP address. To finish up, select Close and answer yes to all questions. The system will re-boot. When Windows is back up, start TCP/CONNECT II and try to ping mit.edu to verify that you can resolve host names. |
