E-Mail Client Configuration for Remote Access and PSINet e-Mail Accounts

Internet mail by Microsoft comes with the Internet Explorer. The following information and screenshots will help you set up Internet mail.

Click Mail | Read Mail:

Click Mail | Options:

Click the Server tab:

Fill in each field. For your E-mail Address, use user@psinet.com for a Remote Access account, and user@domain.com for a PSINet e-Mail account. For Outgoing Mail (SMTP), use smtp.psinet.com for a Remote Access account, and smtp.domain.com for a PSINet e-Mail account. For Incoming Mail (POP3), use pop3.psinet.com for a Remote Access account, and psimail.domain.com for a PSINet e-Mail account. Your username and password must be lowercased.

Click OK and you will be ready to use Internet Mail.
